In the view of the lingering imbalances of trade and its underlying effect on the Nigerian economy, a Nigerian based worldwide federation of youthful leaders, Junior chamber International (JCI), Southeast, south-south Zone has scheduled to hold its 2016 Area conference between June 16 and 19 at Motel Bellisima, Benin City on a theme that harmonises the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals with the aim to secure the future of the its inhabitants.
According to a statement signed By Mr Adetunji Alade, The Executive Vice President (EVP) of the organisation, he said that the vibrant gathering of young active minds and highly rated technocrats is set to produce a blueprint for the country.
Mr Alade who noted that the discovering of crude oil shifted Nigeria’s once thriving focus from agriculture resulting in the pollution of our lands and aquatic environments which later brought poverty to the lives of many Nigerians.
The conference will also harp on practical efforts and solutions that could be harnessed towards revolutionizing the economy.
