ARCON Announces Date For Advertising Industry Colloquium-marketingspace.com.ng

The third edition of Advertising Industry Colloquium, AIC, an Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria’s (ARCON) annual event is set for July 8, 2025, at the Sheba Event Centre in Ikeja.

In a statement released by ARCON and signed by its director general, Dr Olalekan Fadolapo, the third edition with the theme: From Dialogue to Data: Merging Storytelling, Human Engagement & Techs in Marketing Communication,” is to encourage industry dialogue, to discuss challenges militating against the growth of integrated marketing communication industry, and to explore new opportunities to grow the industry.

While the event will have thought-leadership presentations and insightful discussions, there will also be opportunities to network and share meaningful ideas.

Among industry experts lines up to lead the discussion are Olufemi Odugbemi, Founder & CEO of Zuri24Media. Odugbemi will deliver the keynote address.

Others include: Lanre Odufuwa, Head of Marketing, Omnibiz Africa, Nana Milagrosa, Founder & Chief Experience Curator, MPXM Agency, Steve Babaeko, CEO & Chief Creative Officer, X3M Ideas Group, Stephen Onaivi, Managing Director, MediaReach OMD and Prof, Kolade Ajilore, Associate Professor of Communications Studies, Babcock University.

The event will also feature pitch presentations by notable Universities in the country. These universities include: University of Ilorin, Covenant University, Federal University, Kashere, Gombe State, River State University, Kaduna Polytechnic, Ebonyi State University and Pan Atlantic University.

The previous two AIC series lived up to their billing as universities that performed well in the pitch went home with financial rewards for their brilliance.

The third edition, ARCON said, promises to be greater bringing together students from various universities, media, industry professionals, business leaders, and brand custodians.
