Members of the Association of Advertising Agencies of Nigeria (AAAN) have renewed the mandate of the association’s Executive Committee led by President Lanre Adisa, while electing two new members during its 53rd Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Congress held on Friday, July 24, 2026, at the Providence Hotel, Ikeja GRA, Lagos.

The renewed Executive Committee comprises Lanre Adisa as President, Adekoyejo Abiola as Vice President, Shola Adegborioye as Honorary Treasurer, Funmibi Fayo-Adeleye as Publicity Secretary, Bayo Owosina as Assistant Publicity Secretary. Biodun Adefila, Olabisi Olusanya, Funke Adekola, and Raphael Idu were returned as ex officio. Oluwaseyi Layade and Ayoade Aderoju, who are also ex officio, join the leadership team as newly elected members.

Speaking after his re-election, Lanre Adisa expressed appreciation to members for the renewed confidence reposed in the Executive Committee, describing the outcome as a collective endorsement of the association’s vision for a stronger and more resilient advertising industry.

Adisa welcomed the newly elected members, expressing confidence that their experience and perspectives would enrich the Executive Committee’s work as the association continues to drive initiatives that benefit member agencies and the wider industry.

He promised to build on existing progress, strengthen industry collaboration, and position AAAN for a stronger future.

“I am deeply honoured by the confidence our members have once again placed in this leadership team. We remain committed to strengthening the advertising industry, promoting professional excellence, creating greater value for our member agencies, and deepening collaboration with stakeholders to position Nigerian advertising for sustainable growth in an evolving communications landscape,” he said.

The Association of Advertising Agencies of Nigeria remains the oldest umbrella body for advertising agencies in the country, committed to promoting excellence, professionalism, and the advancement of the advertising profession in Nigeria.
