MediaConsortium Fixes Date For 2026 CSR, Sustainability Conference -marketingspace.com.ngThe 2026 edition of the CSR Impact and Excellence Conference is scheduled to hold on April 17, 2026, at the Lagos Chambers of Commerce and Industry in Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos.

The conference, now in its second edition, will focus on the theme, “Beyond Profit: Redefining Success Through CSR and Sustainability,” reflecting the growing global shift toward purpose-driven business models.

Organisers say the theme challenges organisations to measure success not only through financial performance but also through environmental stewardship, community development, and strong corporate governance practices.

According to the organisers, corporate social responsibility (CSR) and sustainability have evolved from optional corporate activities into core strategic pillars for modern organisations.

Increasingly, consumers, investors, regulators, and host communities are demanding that businesses demonstrate measurable social value, environmental responsibility, and ethical leadership.

The conference follows the success of its maiden edition held in 2025 and is expected to bring together industry leaders, sustainability experts, CSR professionals, brand strategists, academics, and media practitioners.

Participants will explore practical ways organisations can embed impact, ethics, and long-term sustainability into their operations while redefining success beyond traditional financial metrics.

Speaking ahead of the event, Godwin Anyebe, co-publisher of the organising publication, said a lineup of respected professionals and CSR experts will present papers aligned with the conference theme.

He added that the presentations will be followed by panel discussions designed to deepen conversations around responsible business practices and sustainable development strategies.

The conference is expected to further strengthen conversations around corporate accountability, sustainable growth, and the role of businesses in driving positive social and environmental change across Nigeria and beyond.
