The Public Relations Consultants Association of Nigeria (PRCAN) has congratulated Mr. Muyiwa Akintunde, Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Leap Communications, on his election as the National President of the Nigerian Institute of Journalism Alumni Association (NIJAA).
PRCAN described Mr. Akintunde’s emergence through a competitive electoral process as a testament to the confidence reposed in his leadership, professional experience and commitment to the journalism profession and the NIJ alumni community.
The Association noted that Mr. Akintunde’s election is also a source of pride to PRCAN and the wider public relations and communications industry, particularly as he leads a member firm of the Association.
In a congratulatory message, the Chair/CEO of PRCAN, Dr. Nkechi Ali-Balogun, expressed confidence that Mr. Akintunde’s wealth of experience, professional accomplishments and demonstrated leadership would bring renewed energy and purposeful direction to NIJAA.
